The hood on the Bobrick B-66997 Surface-Mounted Toilet Tissue Dispenser helps to protect toilet tissue, reducing the amount of wasted paper products. Designed to hold one roll of toilet tissue that is 5-1/8 inches in diameter or less, the unit is intended for mounting on all types of hard surfaces found in commercial washrooms from partitions to walls. The spindle included in the dispenser is made of plastic covered in chrome electroplating. To construct the unit, type-304 steel is used in the shell, flange and hood, while chrome-plated zamak is utilized for the support posts. The hood is made of 18-gauge stainless steel to give it extra strength. The remainder of the stainless steel components are crafted from 22-gauge steel. The stainless steel has a satin finish to cut down on the appearance of smudges and fingerprints. Covered in chrome electroplating, the zamak support posts coordinate with the look of the rest of the unit.
