The Bobrick B-5806.99x30 Concealed Mounting with Snap Flange Grab Bar gives you the option to choose a satin finish or a peened nonslip gripping surface. The piece is fully compliant with all ADA Accessibility Guidelines in the United States. The grab bar is manufactured out of 1-1/4-inch thick, type-304 stainless steel tubing made of 1.22-millimeter or 18-gauge sheets. A medium-sized choice from Bobrick's lineup of fine quality grab bars, the piece is 30 inches in length. For maximum strength, the bar and flange are one unit. The piece is strong enough to bear 900 pounds of weight and has 1-1/2 inches of clearance from the wall. If installed with a different amount of clearance, the grab bar can support 250 pounds of weight. The bar is designed to allow both vertical and horizontal installation. The cover conceals the screws by snapping down over them when the grab bar is installed.
