The Bobrick B-296x18 Stainless Steel Shelf is a handy storage shelf that can be mounted onto any type of hard surface, including plaster, drywall and bathroom stall partitions. Its attractive satin finish, which reduces the frequency with which you have to polish the piece to remove fingerprints, makes the shelf ideal for all types of purposes. The shelf measures 6 inches in width by 18 inches in length. For maximum strength, the shelf is crafted from type-304, 18-gauge steel and has a 3/4 of an inch return at the edges. At the bottom back edge, two, 16-gauge, type-304 stainless steel mounting brackets are used to support the shelf and attach it to the wall. The brackets are spaced 12 inches from one another and have their outer edges aligned so that they are 3 inches from the edge of the shelf. As an added safety feature, the edges on the shelf are hemmed.
