The Bobrick B-4380 Stainless Steel Recessed Heavy-Duty Soap Dish is designed for use in showers with stud walls. A rough opening of 6 inches in width by 4 inches in height by 4 inches in depth is required to accommodate the soap dish. The shell and flange of the soap dish are crafted from type-304, 19-gauge stainless steel and are made with a drawn, one-piece beveled construction with no seams. The design features two countersunk mounting holes for attaching the unit to the wall. Made of 22-gauge stainless steel, the retaining lip is also fabricated out of type-304 stainless steel and is 3 inches long. The lip helps prevent the soap from slipping out of the soap container and onto the shower floor. The entire soap dish has a matte polished finish. This finish looks attractive in commercial washrooms, but cuts down on messes and smudges because of its subtle shine.
