Designed to allow for mounting both horizontally and vertically, the Bobrick B-5806x36 Concealed Mounting with Snap Flange Grab Bar is ideal for use in commercial and institutional restrooms that must comply with barrier-free accessibility guidelines. Made of type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel tubing, the grab bar is 1-1/4 inches in diameter and 36 inches in length. To create wheelchair compartments and handicapped shower setups, the bars can be combined with bars in other lengths. Even with heavy use, the grab bar will not show a large amount of fingerprints or smudges, thanks to its satin finish. The grab bar is heliarc welded to mounting flanges on either end. Made of steel plating that is 1/8 of an inch thick, the mounting flanges are covered by 22-gauge stainless steel discs that snap down over them. This keeps the mounting screws out of sight and gives the grab bar a sleek appearance once installed.
