The Bradley Equa-Flo C5 S59-1001 Shower Valve has a sophisticated design that allows it to automatically compensate for changes in water pressure. The valve is outfitted with a lever handle that requires less than 5 pounds of force to operate, making it ADA compliant. A stainless steel piston is used to regulate both the temperature and pressure of the water. For added safety, the unit is outfitted with tamper-resistant brass limit stops. The thermostatic mixing valve is dirt and lime resistant, so that it can continue to function optimally for years. Both easy to install and service, the thermostatic mixing valve is rigorously tested in the factory to ensure quality and is ASSE 1016 certified. The unit has 1/2 of an NPT hot/cold water supply connections in its design. The thermostatic mixing valve has a maximum operating pressure of 125 PSI. The valve body and cap are both crafted from durable brass.
