Commercial-duty motor features higher starting torque, cooler running temperature, and reversing plug. Open air-over motor has totally enclosed shaft endshield and shell. Opposite endshield is open. Shaft up/down motor has both endshields totally enclosed with removable drain plugs. Can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Suitable for outdoor air conditioner condensers and refrigeration condensers. Can also be used on heat pumps.
