This general purpose motor is suitable for dusty, dirty, nonhazardous applications with pumps, ventilation equipment, machine tools, and other industrial equipment. It can withstand high voltage spikes produced by variable frequency drives, and can run at slow speeds without overheating. It is not for cooling tower applications.
