The Guardian GBF1670 is a recessed emergency shower with ceiling-mounted exposed shower head. Compared to conventional shower equipment, the GBF1670 saves floor space and eliminates clutter. When properly installed, the unit complies with ADA requirements for accessibility by people with disabilities.The stainless steel shower head diameter is 10", and the unit includes a 1" IPS brass stay-open ball valve with a stainless steel "panic bar." Pulling the bar will activate the shower, and the unit remains in operation until the bar is returned to the closed position. The exposed pipe and escutcheon are constructed of brushed stainless steel.
