The chemical-resistant hazmat absorbent mat pad resists reaction to corrosive spills. Its easily recognized pink color helps to ensure the correct mat is used in a chemical spill emergency. The heavyweight, highly durable material features 8 layers of polypropylene thermally bonded for strength. Fine-fiber construction and dimple pattern provide fast wicking and no liquid or fiber residue. The flame-resistant material melts when exposed to high heat, rather than burning immediately like cellulose mats.
