This Watts water pressure reducing valve is designed to reduce incoming water pressure and help protect plumbing system components and to reduce water consumption. Model has a bypass feature that allows water to flow back through the valve into the main when pressures, due to thermal expansion on the outlet side of the valve, exceed the pressure in the main supply. Valve has a sensitive spring and large diaphragm area for accurate pressure control and a wide range of adjustment. Large integral stainless steel strainer screen can be easily removed for cleaning. You can also remove the disc without special tools and without dismantling the valve.
